The Baby Factory is NZ's largest nursery furniture and babygear specialist with 26 stores nationwide.

In August 1987 a group of store owners amalgamated and formed a 6 store chain. They believed that baby gear was very expensive and that with a stronger group they were able to negotiate better prices and pass the savings onto the customer.

With this in mind The Baby Factory expansion was quick and with the advent of more stores they were able to begin an import programme that saw prices fall even further without compromising product quality and safety.

Since then we have embarked in a comprehensive customer service training programme for our staff to offer the best service to our customers and our buyers go around the world sourcing quality product at value for money prices.

We have our own repair department for after sales service as well. Since its inception in 1987 the business has expanded to 26 stores nationwide and has one of the largest selections of babygear in NZ.

We Accept AMEX, Diners, Visa, Mastercard, Farmers, EFTPOS, Q-Card, cash, cheques with suitable ID (cheque fee of 25c applies)

Layby
We offer a convenient layby system with only 10% Deposit and 6 weeks to pay for clothing ( sale clothing items are not available on layby ), and 3 months to pay for other goods.

Gift Services
Gift Vouchers are available on line or in store $5, $10, $20, $50, $100. Gift Exchange Cards - if you buy a gift for someone ask for a gift exchange card so that the recipient can swap it for something else.

Hireage of Car seats
We also HIRE infant car seats and booster seats. Because we have 26 stores nationwide you can pick up the item from one branch and drop it off at another - great for going on holiday.
